Buying & pricing

Buying an eTuk

Start with the operating requirement, then compare platform, configuration, total project cost and financing.

How much does an eTuk cost?

The standard Passenger/Shuttle configuration starts at $27,999, while the standard eTuk Cargo configuration starts at $24,999. Vendo vehicles, custom builds, project equipment, accessories, delivery and other project-specific items require a written quote.

See the eTuk pricing guide for more context.

How do I get a quote for an electric tuk tuk?

Submit a quote request with the intended use, location, desired platform, configuration, quantity and timeline. For a custom commercial build, include as much information as possible about equipment, workflow and utilities.

Do you offer financing?

Qualified buyers can explore financing pathways through available financing providers. Approval, amount financed, down payment, rate, term, fees and credit requirements are determined by the financing provider.

Learn more on the financing page.

Do custom orders require a deposit?

Deposits may be required for special orders, custom builds or production scheduling. The written quote and order documents define the payment schedule and applicable terms for a specific transaction.

What should I compare besides the purchase price?

Compare equipment, charging, maintenance, insurance, registration, delivery, storage, site infrastructure, replacement parts, expected utilization and potential downtime. These costs provide a more useful ownership picture than MSRP alone.

See the Total Cost of Ownership guide .

How does an eTuk compare with a golf cart or food truck?

The categories solve different problems. A golf cart is often the simplest compact passenger or utility platform. An eTuk provides Passenger, Cargo and commercial Vendo configurations in a distinctive three-wheel electric platform. A traditional food truck provides substantially more commercial-kitchen workspace but typically requires a much larger vehicle and investment.

Vehicle specifications

Speed, range, charging and capacity

Use the delivered vehicle specification for final planning. Battery and operating performance can vary by configuration and duty cycle.

How fast do eTuk vehicles go?

Current eTuk configurations have a compact, low-speed operating profile, with typical maximum speed around 25 mph depending on vehicle, configuration and programming. The responsible authority determines where the vehicle may operate.

What is the driving range of an eTuk?

There is no single range figure that should be used for every eTuk. Range depends on the battery, passenger or cargo load, route, speed, grades, weather, driving style, battery condition and auxiliary electrical demand.

Confirm the current U.S. vehicle specification and evaluate the actual route rather than relying on a generic maximum-range claim.

Can an eTuk charge from a standard electrical outlet?

Many current U.S. configurations can charge from an appropriate 110V outlet using the supplied charger. Confirm the exact charger, connector, circuit, amperage and expected charging time for the delivered vehicle before installing charging infrastructure.

How long does an eTuk take to charge?

Charging time depends on the delivered battery, charger, starting state of charge and electrical circuit. Use the vehicle-specific charger and battery specification rather than assuming one charging time applies to every eTuk.

How many passengers can an eTuk Passenger vehicle carry?

The current U.S. L5 Limo / Passenger configuration is designed for one driver plus up to six passengers, depending on the final seating layout and delivered specification.

Explore the Passenger eTuk.

Do eTuk vehicles have seat belts?

Current eTuk passenger vehicles include safety belts for the driver and passengers. Exact requirements depend on vehicle category, delivered configuration and jurisdiction.

Do eTuk vehicles have reverse?

Yes. Current eTuk vehicle controls include Drive, Neutral and Reverse.

Are eTuk vehicles designed for off-road use?

eTuks are primarily intended for normal paved-road, campus, resort, community, private-property and similar commercial operating environments rather than technical off-road use.

Cargo, Vendo & custom builds

Commercial eTuk applications

Cargo moves goods. Vendo serves customers. Custom Builds adapt either platform around a defined operating need.

What is an electric cargo tuk tuk?

The eTuk L5 Cargo is a compact electric commercial vehicle with a configurable enclosed cargo body. Applications can include tools, supplies, facilities work, internal delivery, property operations and other short-route commercial logistics.

Explore the eTuk Cargo platform.

What are the eTuk Cargo box dimensions?

The current planning drawing shows nominal external cargo-body dimensions of approximately 71 inches long, 53 inches wide and 57 inches high. Final production dimensions and the written specification control the delivered vehicle.

How much weight can the eTuk Cargo carry?

Manufacturer material references up to 800 kg / 1,764 lb for the platform, but this is not a universal allowable payload for every build. Final payload depends on body, equipment, driver, load distribution, center of gravity and applicable requirements.

Can the Cargo body be customized?

Yes, subject to technical review. Cargo projects can evaluate access doors, storage, shelving, load control, locks, work lighting, auxiliary power, telematics, refrigeration requirements and fleet graphics.

See Custom Builds.

What is an eTuk Vendo?

Vendo is the customer-facing commercial direction for qualified mobile coffee, beverage, dessert, retail, catering-support and branded service concepts. Equipment and layout depend on product, workflow, power, water, storage and site requirements.

Explore the Vendo platform.

Can an eTuk be used for coffee, ice cream or catering?

Yes, when the required equipment, utilities, workflow and applicable operating requirements fit the platform. Compact coffee, frozen treat, beverage and catering- support concepts can be evaluated through Vendo or Business in a Box.

See electric tuk tuks for food and catering .

Can an eTuk use solar power?

Solar can be useful for auxiliary equipment or as part of a stationary or portable charging strategy. Solar panels generally provide limited direct benefit for materially extending vehicle driving range. The complete auxiliary energy load must be evaluated before specifying a system.

What can be customized on an eTuk?

Depending on platform and technical review, customization may include color, graphics, passenger finish, cargo access, shelving, storage, service counters, commercial equipment, refrigeration, auxiliary power, water systems, lighting, security, cameras, GPS and telematics.

Final feasibility and inclusion are defined in the written build specification.

How long does a custom eTuk build take?

There is no universal custom-build lead time. Timing depends on project complexity, technical review, information completeness, component availability, approvals, production, logistics and delivery scope. Use the timing confirmed in the written quote or order.

Road use & compliance

VIN, registration and operating rules

Street-ready equipment does not create one universal nationwide registration class.

Are eTuk vehicles street legal?

eTuk vehicles are delivered in a street-ready configuration with an individual 17-character VIN and applicable vehicle documentation and labeling. The responsible state and local authorities determine title, registration category, licensing, insurance requirements and permitted roads.

Are eTuk vehicles DOT compliant?

“DOT compliant” should not be treated as one universal registration status. eTuk USA supplies the vehicle with applicable street-use equipment, identification and documentation, but the final registration and operating requirements are determined by the responsible jurisdiction.

Is an eTuk a Low-Speed Vehicle or LSV?

Depending on the state and vehicle configuration, an eTuk may be registered or treated as a moped, low-speed vehicle (LSV), autocycle, motorcycle, motor-driven cycle or another three-wheel vehicle category.

In practice, moped and LSV classifications are among the most common categories used for eTuk operations, but the exact registration class, licensing requirements, insurance and permitted roads are determined by the state and local jurisdiction.

Can eTuks operate on private property?

They can be used in many private-property environments, but the property owner, insurer, local rules and operating policies still control where and how a specific vehicle may operate.

Can hotels and resorts operate eTuks?

eTuks can be evaluated for hotel and resort passenger mobility, guest experience and Cargo operations. The property should confirm route, passenger or load needs, charging, storage, local vehicle requirements and site policies before deployment.

Service, parts & ownership

Keeping an eTuk operating

Start service with the VIN and exact configuration. AIden can help organize the first diagnostic steps.

What is the eTuk warranty?

Warranty coverage depends on the vehicle, component and purchase terms. New-vehicle and component warranty terms are confirmed during the sales process and should be reviewed before purchase. This FAQ does not create or extend warranty coverage.

How long does an eTuk battery last?

Battery life depends on battery chemistry and specification, charging habits, temperature, depth of discharge, cycle count, storage and duty cycle. Confirm the battery and applicable warranty supplied with the specific vehicle rather than relying on a universal lifespan claim.

Can replacement parts be ordered?

Yes. eTuk USA can help identify and coordinate compatible replacement parts for supported vehicles, subject to correct vehicle identification and supplier availability.

Provide the VIN, photographs, component location and visible part numbers when available.

How do I get service for my eTuk?

Does eTuk USA provide remote diagnostics?

eTuk USA is developing remote diagnostics around AIden AI Assistance and connected telematics systems installed on supported vehicles. Depending on the vehicle and configuration, the telematics system can provide selected vehicle data and diagnostic information, including certain faults.

AIden can combine available connected-vehicle information with symptoms, warning messages, photographs, video and operator input to support troubleshooting. The system continues to expand as additional vehicle data and diagnostic capabilities become available.

Some mechanical, electrical and safety-related issues will still require physical inspection, measurement or hands-on service by a qualified technician.

Can eTuk USA support a vehicle after warranty coverage ends?

Parts identification, maintenance information and paid service coordination may still be available after warranty coverage ends, subject to the vehicle, component availability and work required.

What should operators inspect before using an eTuk?

Follow the delivered vehicle documentation. Typical operating checks include obvious vehicle damage, tires, lights, mirrors, steering, brakes, restraints, cargo security, doors, charging status and unusual warnings or operating behavior.

Does eTuk USA support fleet customers?

Yes. Fleet support can include configuration standardization, deployment planning, service records, parts planning, maintenance practices, service coordination and evaluation of available telematics or connected-vehicle capabilities.
